Flexible thin Polypropylene sheets are suitable for a wide range of D&T applications. 

Our sheets are available in 0.8mm and 0.5mm thickness, making them very lightweight. 

They can be cut safely on a laser cutter and unlike PVC they do not create any chlorine gas. 

The sheets can also be cut using a sharp knife. You can crease the material using a cold or 

hot creasing technique. The resulting 'hinges' can be folded many times without the material 

breaking.

Polypropylene Sheet Advantages:

The main advantage would be it's acid resistance.Polypropylene Sheet has excellent acid and 

chemical resistance.It is also resistant to Sulphuric Acid.Another advantage would be it's low 

cost,Polypropylene is one of the lowest priced engineering plastics around. Polypropylene Sheet 

also has high impact resistance as some customers have used it as a backing board when 

punching gaskets or cardboard shapes.It is also very lightweight and is our only plastic that will 

float.
